Timings For Entries

Novice & Experienced

  • Our categories will not be split between novice and experienced, however, all those that have stated on their entry form that they are a novice dancer, dance teachers are the best person to determine dancer level but as a general rule novice dancers may have only attended 1-3 competitions, or have not secured a score over 83 marks at competition in any style. Final decision on what constitutes novice will be decided by the judge and will be put forward for our Novice awards.

Judges Knockout

All dancers entering our event are welcome to take part in our judges knockout for no extra cost! Our judges knockout is split into two categories, Junior (11 and under) and Senior (12 and over). This will consist of a short class with our judges teaching a routine (style of the judges choosing) the dancers will then be asked to dance the routine and the judge will choose the dancer they think are performing the routine best by knocking out dancers one by one! This is to give dancers the experience of picking up new choreography quickly and hone their performance skills!
